Solite International Co., Ltd. was founded as the Nan Zong Group in 1955 and quickly became one of the leading luggage and bag manufacturers in the world. Originating as a family business founded by 5 brothers hailing from Taiwan and starting with a staff of only 18, grew in excess of 3000 during the 1980’s.
Success continued, collaborating with industry leading brands. Together, bringing many innovations to the market, most notably creating the worlds firstwheeled luggage in 1981. It didn’t stop there and the company went on to revolutionize the industry further with the introduction of using semi rigid materials and adding substance and strength to fabric suitcase walls, which is still in use today
The current CEO is the son of an original founding brother and joined the company in 1996 after completing his 12 year education in the USA.
He practiced his true passion for product design, development and innovation, utlilzing the long history and capabilities he inherited, while still continuing to create and move the luggage industry forward. After six decades of supplying high-quality products to the most well-known travel brands, Solite grew from a pure OEM manufacturer to a global company developing innovative new products for today’s modern traveller.
